If I’m going to shop for the hubs, I go first to Obey Clothing. Not only does the design aesthetic appeal to my music playing husband, but even more so, their focus on raising awareness for different causes & supporting local artists. A little history behind Obey – it was founded by Shepard Fairey & started with a sticker in 1989 which then turned into a worldwide street art campaign and body of fine art. In 2001, the clothing line was formed out of an extension of this work.
