Braid
Here in Atlanta, the summer months are so insanely hot that they require sheer survival mode. This goes for pretty much any length of hair, but especially mine since it’s super long and thick, if you’re going outside for any length of time you pretty much have to wear your hair up. But lucky for us there are tons of super cute hair styles to get us through the heat of the summer. I’ve always been a fan of braids and love how many different styles you can do with a classic braid. This first style is super easy and just require buying these cool copper hair accessories to add into your braid. The second braided style is romantic yet casual and may require a little more time to do but it’s still pretty basic in technique. Check out the tutorial here.
Pony
I love the classic pony tail, especially with longer hair. Both of these styles are super easy and add a little something special to a classic and super practical look. The first style is actually just a hair knot, but depending on the length of your hair will probably end up looking like a knotted pony tail. Here’s the how-to. Â The second pony tail style is nothing new and so so easy if you don’t already know the trick. All you do is take a small piece of hair from the bottom of your pony tail, wrap it around your hair tie and secure with a bobby pin. I use this easy trick ALLÂ the time.
Bun
Then there’s the bun. From messy to clean and elegant, these styles will keep you the coolest this summer. We have probably all sported the top knot bun in some form or fashion but I loved this tutorial for a Messy French Bun. There aren’t a ton of occasions you can get away with this look but the summer time is definitely one of them. And how pretty is this braided bun? The perfect style for a day where you’re feeling extra girly or want a soft and feminine look.
