cultured. - Atlanta Shopping Guide: Volume I

Dana & I recently went on a shopping adventure in our city of Atlanta. We were determined to find fashion forward, unique boutiques that would speak to the hearts of our fashion loving friends. Here are some of our favorite finds & hint hint… this is just volume 1!

High-End Boutiques

Ann Mashburn – located in the heart of Midtown, this Atlanta prime boutique was birthed in 2010 next to it’s “husband” store, Sid Mashburns. Sid & Ann Mashburn have been in the fashion industry for over a decade, working with the likes of J.Crew & Vogue. Ann Mashburn is the perfect place to find those timeless staples like the perfect white shirt, or a pop of surprise with one of their African beaded necklaces. For Ann Mashburn, “it is less about fashion & more about style.” We love the thoughtfulness in each element of Ann’s store, & know you will too.

Morgan Kylee – Atlanta native, Morgan Henzlik opened the doors of her high-end boutique in 2011 right in central Buckhead. Morgan Kylee is full of eclectic yet elegant pieces, from vintage beaded handbags to mod platforms heels. Morgan brings thought & pride to introducing new labels to the Atlanta fashion scene, which we think makes this boutique a must visit! And we love Morgan Henzlik’s dream of bringing fashion forward pieces to the less “fashion minded” Atlanta.

Blush on East Andrews- we stumbled upon this beautifully feminine boutique tucked away on East Andrews St. in Buckhead. Blush on East Andrews carries the perfect marriage of vintage romantic & bohemian chic. Each piece is special but wearable, from lace tanks to yoga wear. Blush on East Andrews is the perfect spot if you’re looking for that one of a kind piece.

Tootsies – just across from Lenox Mall in Buckhead, Tootsies is an Atlanta staple in the world of boutiques. Carrying all the main names of fashion, Tootsies sells some of our favorite designers like Missoni, Alice + Olivia, Rag and Bone, & Rachel Zoe. If you see it on the runway, it’s likely to be in Tootsies. Tootsies also has a beautiful collection of evening gowns – a perfect stop for those mother of the brides!

Mid-Range Boutiques

Bill Hallman – located in the heart of the Virginia Highlands, Bill Hallman also has locations in Buckhead & midtown’s Atlanta Station. Bill Hallman brings the best contemporary fashion to Atlanta while keeping reasonable prices.

Fab’rik – located in several locations around Atlanta, Fab’rik is the perfect wallet friendly boutique. Keeping most prices under $100, Fab’rik does not, however, forfeit taste for price. We love their colorful tanks & great denim selection.

Range Clothing Boutique – opened since 2007 in Buckhead, Range duos at a clothing boutique & bead & jewelry shop. Featuring mostly California based designers, Range brings a west coast feel to the heart of the south. Find a great top & then pick out a set of beads for a custom matched necklace. This boutique is truly unique!

Socially Conscious Shops

Sq. Ft. – this new boutique to Decatur speaks true to the heart of CULTURED. Carrying a mix of ethically produced clothing, jewelry from local vendors, & brands with a cause, this boutique will give you a story behind your purchase. And if you’re looking for a more well known brand like Levi’s or Frye, they have that too. Sq. Ft. also has a great selection of shoes & men’s clothing.

Squash Blossom – also located in Decatur, Squash Blossom has a great mix of well known brands like Free People. Look a bit closer, & you’ll find an array of treasures from local artists & brands giving back.
