NYFW starts today! It’s one of our favorite weeks in fashion and the perfect chance to take a peak at what’s hitting the racks in the next season. I love picking up trend patterns, perusing the street style mavens and seeing what new designers emerge from the masses. Speaking of trends, there were some really great options that came out of the Spring 2014 runways. Here are just a few that I think will fit perfectly into your everyday ensembles. Sometimes I find trends a bit unaccessible, but I loved these options and will definitely be incorporating them into my wardrobe this Spring!
Above: Visor Sunglasses – a fresh take on sunglasses. I love how these make a statement without being a permanent part of your day’s attire. Slip them on and off as you feel.
Flatform Sandal – an ode to mod, I love the flatform sandals seen across the Spring 2014 runways. They are perfect with any outfit… skinny jeans, dresses or even a pair of hot shorts. I’ve seen them in some pretty fun textures and patterns as well for a pop of color on the feet, which is one of my favorite ways to incorporate color into an outfit.
Chunky Chains – A more understated take on the collar necklaces that have recently been so popular. This accessory feels a bit more refined and versatile.
Flat Loafer – The perfect everyday shoe. I love the school boy feel this shoe gives to an outfit. These are great paired with a slouchy boyfriend jean for a more relaxed tomboy look.
Fringe – A fun accessory for Spring. You can find great options in fringe from stores like Free People. I like the understated look of fringe in smaller doses like a clutch. It adds a bohemian touch to any look.
