Dressing a baby for fall can have it’s challenging moments. When the weather goes from freezing in the morning to sunny and warm in the afternoon, layers are the key to keeping your baby comfortable and dressed appropriately. A light tee, jeans and beanie have been my go to for Jet these days. I’ll throw a flannel around his waist or in the diaper bag for another layer in case I need it and put him in a light jacket in the mornings. I love the fleece or sweatshirt lined jackets for extra warmth. I layer because it avoids the heavy coat that can be so cumbersome and hard to wear in a car seat, and allows you a little more time until you are pulling those out in the winter months. A hat is always a great extra piece for warmth to keep in the diaper bag as well in case it’s windy or you find yourself in the shade more.
